Absolutely Abstract 2009 at Philadelphia Sketch Club Features Possible World Map #2 until Oct 2009

 admire the installation.  The colors and
 compositions work well together -- no small
 matter in a show this size. More Perfect Union,
 by Elynne N.  Rosenfeld in mixed media, is a
 magnet to the left side wall. A limited palette,
 primarily of greens in varying textures and
 whites, creates a sense of unfolding and

A solo show of paintings and drawings at Paoli Hospital Cancer Center, from June 1-30, 2007. Patients and their families will have a diversion from the otherwise sterile atmosphere.

Reunion#2 is featured in the Spring Issue of Philadelphia Stories Magazine.

2003

Winner of the Juror's Choice Award at the Wayne Art Center National Juried Exhibition. The following article appeared in The Colonial on May 8, 2003:

      "Seven year Lafayette Hill resident
    Elynne N. Rosenfeld was the winner of
    the Juror's Choice Award at the
    Wayne Art Center 2003 National Juried
    Exhibition.  Her painting, "Stalwart"
    depicts a tree trunk pushing through
    metal tubes on a convex round canvas.
      Rosenfeld has been a Philadelphia
    area resident for the past 25 years.
    After receiving her M.F.A. from the
    University of Massachusetts in 1977
    she began her art career here.
      Active in the Tri-State Artists
    Equity Association, she served as its
    president from 1983 - 1985 and is a
    lifetime honorary member.  In 1997
    she joined ArtForms Gallery in
    Manayunk and has shown in solo and
    group shows since then, serving as
    co-director in 1999.  Her painting is
    one of a series that is an outgrowth
    of her move to a 4-acre wooded area
    along the edge of a nature preserve
    near the Miquon School.  The show
    runs until May 23 [2003]."

Montgomery County Guild of Professional Artists is pleased to announce that Elynne N. Rosenfeld has been chosen for the prestigious Mahlon Bluebond Memorial Award for her mixed media drawing entitled Treetrunk Sketch #3. Juror Fred Osbourn singled out Rosenfeld's work from 63 works selected for the show, which was on display from June - September, 2001.
